In this episode, I interview Michael Hart, a quality management and organizational excellence with 40 years of “expertise”. Yet, he is a generalist, who used philosophy, sociology and quantum sciences to enrich his traditional role and responsibilities to eventually start his own practice.

Michael Kent Hart is the founder of HUMAN, a training & consulting firm based in Canada’s National Capital Region focusing on organizational excellence. He is also the founder of the Canadian Training Directory, a central web community for Canadian trainers to list their products, and those looking for training to find them. 
He is a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) with multiple certifications; a member of the National Board of Directors for the Canadian Public Sector Excellence Network (CPSEN), and Chair of its Board Advisory Committee. He is also a Licensed Associate of Excellence Canada and holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialty in Quality Management and Business Excellence from the University of Leicester in the UK.  
With 40 years as a specialist in quality management and organizational excellence, his core has always been about how people and organizations work best. But using the generalist principle, Michael has enhanced his core and created synergy through the study and practice of complementary subjects. His MBA thesis was entitled “Conscious Human Intention in the Workplace and its Effects on Improvement Projects” and required building connections between philosophy, the quantum sciences, sociology, and business methodologies. Work assisting a Trinidad and Tobago government ministry with process improvement inspired Michael to create a complimentary program to existing Lean and Six Sigma tools called Sibling, which utilizes a collection of positive engagement activities to create transformational change in mediocre processes. Currently Michael is studying the science of producing viral videos in social media in order to become an influencer in his field branded as The Excellence CEO.
